The emergence of “new chip” or “second generation chip”
With the emergence of more and more compatible toner cartridges, the status of original toner cartridges has been shaken, and they have to take measures, one of which is to improve their chips or upgrade the firmware of the equipment.
OEM (original equipment manufacturers) upgrades its chips or printer firmware from time to time, so that the old chips cannot run on newer printers. This is why for some ink or toner models, you will see new chip versions or second-generation versions. The main purpose is to let printers only recognize OEM toner cartridges, so as to monopolize the whole market.
With the progress of technology, v4ink has been able to independently develop its own smart chip, which is compatible with original printer and adapt to the latest firmware of the equipment.
All TN-760 toner models currently on sale in v4ink come with chips, which are more convenient and affordable. The cumbersome steps of replacing the chip are abandoned, and the installation method is as simple as the original. It can provide the same printing effect and number of pages as the original product, and the price is only 20% of the original one.
